Collecting Dresses

I've been collecting dresses, real and just images. Some I want to make, some I want to remake and some I just want to wear every day. What's your favourite dress shape? I have an 'hour glass figure' so I like anything that's nipped in at my natural waist. I'm still trying to figure out exactly how to sew for myself. It would be so much easier if I was all straight lines but, alas, it's not to be :)

The weather has been a little too fall-esque for me this week. Makes me want hot chocolate, big coats, neutral colors and thick sweaters.

I would love a white womb chair. Unfortunately there is no space for one in our four hundred square feet of home.

One day

One day I will live some where that a hammock can hang outside all year long, with a pool that will always be the perfect temperature for morning swims and beautiful leafy greenery everywhere.

Whoa. Dooood. When I was a kid I either wanted to grow up to be Peter Pan, a Ninja or a Superhero. Yeah, I had reasonable expectations. This movie looks like so much fun! A pop star would have been okay, but Lady Gaga seems to have that covered. Maybe there's room for me and cape?

The runways this year are just chasing me. Stella McCartney has been a favourite of mine since her Chloé days. It doesn't hurt that she's a life long vegetarian too, and has designed some awesome stuff for adidas. I love having vegan running shoes that look hot. Anyway.
