Stella!
The runways this year are just chasing me. Stella McCartney has been a favourite of mine since her Chloé days. It doesn't hurt that she's a life long vegetarian too, and has designed some awesome stuff for adidas. I love having vegan running shoes that look hot. Anyway. I want everything above for both work and play. Santa can you hear me?
When the cover is better
This amazing cover has been around and around the internet and back again, much like the flight path below. I am in love with the voices of these girls and can't seem to get sick of their cover of Fleet Foxes' Tiger Mountain Peasant Song. Aren't they gorgeous? They make me want to run away into the forest with only a flannel round my shoulders and a guitar on my back. Too bad the only instrument I can play is the recorder. I doubt a cover of hot cross buns would be so stunning.
Map
After almost four years of living in my current apartment, the designing and decorating process is almost done. I guess that means it's time to move!
I've been looking for a piece of art to put above my bed for just as long and I think I may have found just the thing. I am so picky about what I put in my space. It can't be too overwhelming or shocking, it needs to add to the overall feel, not distract or try to hog the spotlight. I have been planning to paint something myself, but haven't gotten around to it. My sweetheart and I also have a great love of airports and flying so a minimal map of flight paths suits both our tastes perfectly, it may be just the thing to fill the void.

Róisín Murphy
I love the sight of that Gareth Pugh ensemble on a bus and worn by someone eating chips on the street. The way the collar flops like a partially deflated air mattress is so cheery, not to mention hilarious when she gets in to bed with the hat still on. It's still my favourite video of hers, I have an endless love with irony and cheeky juxtaposition of the ridiculous and the mundane.
And my favourite oldie.
Stop Being so Religious
What
do sad people have in
common?
It seems
They have all built a shrine
to the past
and often go there
and do a strange wail and
Worship.
What is the beginning of
Happiness?
It is to stop being
so religious
like that.

I'd love a porter bag like the one up top for when I go back to school in the fall. It looks perfect, double straps and deep enough for all my books and other paraphernalia.
